After weeks, ok, months, of feeling discouraged, we finally moved up on the waiting list! Four families received referrals this week -- three of them for infants! Also, two families changed their age preferences and suddenly we find ourselves closing in on the top of the list! Here's my highly scientific, statistical breakdown:

#10 Among those requesting an infant, which is up to age 24 months
#9 Among those who didn't specify gender
Just like that and we're feeling renewed with hope!
