This winter has been so mild. In fact, today, we took a nice long walk while Simon rode his scooter. It's great to be outside and we love it! But the evenings and the colder days when we can't be outside have been tough. But, we've found that Simon now has the attention span and interest in playing games and doing puzzles. It has been so. much. FUN! We've played Don't Spill the Beans, Chutes and Ladders, and his favorite seems to be Memory, or the matching game, as Simon calls it.
He's also discovered a love of doing puzzles. He will do a puzzle over and over until it becomes easy for him. And he's soooo proud of himself when he snaps that last piece into place. His smile is priceless!
I don't mind Simon growing up and accomplishing new milestones because he still likes to snuggle, too. Everyday is fun being his mommy and I love the new levels of learning and comprehension he is reaching. So proud of my son!
