A few weeks ago we went to a very special wedding in Richmond, IN. We are so grateful that we could be part of our friends, Chris and Kelly's wedding! Simon loved being able to play with the many, many other children who were at the wedding and reception but he probably loved staying at the hotel the best. Because of the pool. Simon is a fish! He has no fear of the water. He loves to jump in and will even open his eyes underwater. He often pretends to be a dolphin swimming in our living room.

And yes, he's signed up for swimming lessons in July so that he can have some skills behind his bravery in the water.

Simon is growing and talking and learning so much lately. If he could be potty-trained and sleep through the night in his own bed, I would be ok if he stayed this age forever! He's so funny and loves to imitate and pretend. He's gone from parallel playing to being the director -- he loves to involve us in his play and tell us what to do! But not in a bossy way ... just in a way that shows his imagination. Anyway, he is also into singing songs lately and this is one of my favorites.

Family gatherings can be kinda crazy when all three of the little cousins are together! It's always a good idea to have something for them to do. Thank goodness that Brittany thought to bring bubble blowers for each of them. This was back on Mother's Day at Tami's house -- that would be Mark's sister. Braylee, Lily and Simon seem to feed off and thrive on each other's energy! But boy do they have fun together.
