OK ... so I love fall. I am a sucker for pumpkins, mums, brightly colored leaves and generally, all things autumn. Here are a few pictures of our house all decked-out for fall.

August 28, 2013 -- Submitted to Embassy
July 31, 2013 -- Adoptive Family court date
July 10, 2013 -- Guardian court date
June 6, 2013 -- Acceptance paperwork mailed -- wait for court date begins
May 29, 2013 -- REFERRAL!!! It's a boy!
May 17, 2013 -- Second dossier is sent to Ethiopia
June 14, 2011 -- Dossier is translated and registered in Ethiopia
May 27, 2011 -- Dossier to Ethiopia! The wait begins.
April 27, 2011 -- submit completed dossier to agency
March 19, 2011 -- received I-171H
February 18, 2011 -- fingerprints done!
February 12, 2011 -- received fingerprinting appointment for March 8
January 22, 2011 -- Mailed I-600A to USCIS
January 21, 2011 -- Received copy of homestudy
November 15, 2010 -- Second home study visit
November 8, 2010 -- First home study visit
October 14, 2010 -- Submit formal application
October 4, 2010 -- Submit preliminary application

April 14 - Home with Simon!
April 4-14 - Travel to Ethiopia
April 1, 2010 - 2:30 p.m. - Travel Call!
March 17, 2010 - 9:22 a.m. - Passed Court!!
March 17, 2010 - court date
January 11, 2010 - returned referral acceptance; wait for court date begins!
January 4, 2010 - REFERRAL! It's a BOY!
March 31, 2009 - dossier to Ethiopia; the wait begins!
March 6, 2009 - dossier to Washington DC for authentication
February 23, 2009 - submit completed dossier to agency
February 19, 2009 - received I-171H
January 27, 2009 - fingerprinting appointment
January 10, 2009 - received fingerprinting appointment
January 3, 2009 - mail I-600A
December 20, 2008 - received copy of home study
November 10, 2008 - third home study visit
October 27, 2008 - second home study visit
October 20, 2008 - first home study visit
September 22, 2008 - Mark's birthday! meeting with agency
August 2008 - approved! begin formal application
August 2008 - submit preliminary application to agency
July 2008 - decision to adopt
