Our friends Chris and Brian invited us to go with them as they took their son Sean to a great pumpkin patch, Millennium Farms. It's about 20 miles from Lafayette. We had the perfect day for it! And it was so reasonable ... for just $5 per person, they take you on a hay wagon ride to their huge pumpking patch AND you get to choose your own pumpkin! Mark and I each found really nice pumpkins for our front porch.
We also enjoyed watching Sean go for a pony ride, a run through the straw maze, bouncing in the moon walk, and playing in the corn-box (think 'sand box'). As you can see, even Mark had fun playing with the toys on the farm!

We also ran into our friends Joe and Anne and their children Ray and Adele. We ended the trip with soft pretzels, hot dogs, and pumpkin pie. We had a lot of fun and can't wait until we have our own children to take to fun places, too!
